When I went to a kind of Corona version of a retail fair a while ago, I only intended to buy the Frutos do Mar tableware. But then I saw this... the Bloom and Only Rose tableware from the same Portuguese manufacturer, Duro Caramics. And then I knew that I still had to add a flower service to the Coloring table collection.
Because let's face it, this bowl is a work of art, isn't it?!
The purple allium-like flower, the seeds (of a dandelion?) floating through the air, a kind of swan flower and on the gray background, almost fairytale-like white flowers and leaves. It's pure fantasy and it all fits together perfectly.
The colors and illustrations of the Bloom service are all almost the same, but all plates, bowls, cups, etc. are slightly different. Each item has its own character.
The Bloom (and Only Rose) tableware is made and decorated by hand at Duro Ceramics. As you can see in the pictures, it's all a bit bumpy and anything but tight. Nice laissez-faire, nice summer and Mediterranean. But... of top quality and very nicely finished. That is why all these crockery parts can simply be put in the dishwasher, in the oven and, if it fits, in the microwave.
